Auto

Meet Auto! Auto is a stunning black and tan Doberman with a unique and endearing look—one of his cropped ears flops, giving him an extra touch of charm. At 7 years young, he’s the perfect mix of playful and easygoing, ready to bring joy to a home that understands his needs.

Auto is house-trained and somewhat crate-trained, though he experiences anxiety in confinement. He prefers to sleep on a cozy dog bed or the couch. His exercise needs are moderate, and while he enjoys playtime, he’s not an overly high-energy dog. Fetch is one of his favorite games, and he loves doing "bucking bull" spins and puppy bows to show off his excitement!

Friendly and outgoing, Auto adores people and is loyal to his family. However, due to his size and enthusiastic nature, a home without small children would be best. He gets along well with easygoing female dogs but does not tolerate rough play. He hasn’t met cats, though his low prey drive suggests he could coexist with them with proper introductions.

Auto knows several commands, including sit, down, come, wait, and paw/shake. He is food-obsessed and will do just about anything for a treat! While he has some obedience training, he needs continued work on leash walking and controlled introductions to new dogs. He can be overstimulated in new environments and struggles with anxiety in the car and at the vet. A calm, experienced owner who can provide structure, slow introductions, and positive reinforcement will help him thrive.

Auto's ideal home would be a quieter environment with fewer visitors, no small children or frequent car rides, and a patient owner who understands his need for reassurance. He would love a calm female dog companion for company. While he enjoys playtime, he prefers to cuddle and relax at home rather than be out socializing.

If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, and affectionate Doberman who will bring laughter and love into your home, Auto is your guy!
